Value Proposition

Value Proposition – first a few definitions (non-AI generated). 1) A marketing statement that summarizes why consumers should choose a particular product or service, highlighting the specific benefits; 2) A statement that conveys what a brand does and how it differs from competitors; 3) In marketing, a value proposition is the economic value that a company or product delivers to its market segment of customers.

An example I once heard Dr. Thomas Sowell use is Wal-Mart. Their statement "Lowest everyday prices". As Dr. Sowell expanded, prices are generally low, but many of the items just don't last. Another example was Chrysler's K-Cars in the late 1970's. While they were cheap, they did not last which caused buyers to replace them sooner than if they had purchased better product at a higher price. In the end, the higher priced, better quality cost less.

At Nature's Gourmet Farm our value proposition is centered around our product. Our beef, pork, chickens, layers, turkeys, lamb, etc. are all raised on diverse pasture just like God intended. Our model is very different than conventional or industrial farming where the animals are raised in a Confined Animal Feeding Operation (CAFO).

In the CAFO model the focus is on getting that animal to market weight as quickly as possible and at the least cost. Thus, they are given hormones, antibiotics (antibiotics for animals exceeds human use in the USA), and are fed a diet that includes GMO corn & soy - meaning crops that were sprayed at least once with Glyphosate. This is where I want to focus the rest of my comments.

I attended my first Grassfed Exchange Conference back in 2013 at Gabe Brown's Ranch in Bismark, ND. One of the speakers was Dr. Don Huber, Emeritus Professor of Plant Pathology, Purdue University. The title of his presentation(s) were "Failed Promises, Flawed Science: Interactions of Glyphosate and GMO's on Soil, Plant, Animal & Human Health".

His statement on slide 10 sets the stage: "The USDA doesn't want you to know about High GMO chemical residue in food!

Slide 18 shows the impact of Glyphosate on Nutrient Density compared to NON-GMO feed used here at Nature's Gourmet Farm.

I wish I was smart enough to be able to monetize the difference between GMO and NON-GMO. However, it is safe to say that IF GMO food had the same amount of nutrients as the NON-GMO food it would be many multiples higher in price.

Anyone interested in a BIG dose of Formaldehyde in their food?

Slide 18 shows the impact with pigs (other animals also) when their diet includes GMO corn & soy.

This slide shows the impact of Glyphosate on the pig's organs. It's important to know that the chemical is also found in the meat (food) that the majority of people eat because it is considered "cheap".

This is just one of many studies, research, books, etc. that prove the risk associated with Glyphosate. Not to mention the billions of dollars Monsanto & Bayer have paid to people injured by Glyphosate.

Nature's Gourmet Farm product value proposition is to create a community that evolves around one of the most intrinsically important things of the ages, and that’s the provision of sustenance. That's our passion - to raise healthy food to nourish families and strengthen immune systems.

Our Beef is always grass finished with NO grains. Additionally, our animals are free of mRNA, GMO's (chemicals), Antibiotics, and Hormones. We ethically raise them on diverse forage pastures that regenerates our soils and protects our ecosystem.

Let me encourage you to "Be The Change" our food system needs by "Voting With Your Fork" at every meal.
