We are going to take a look at some of the diets (or eating lifestyles) that many of our customers are utilizing and are having great results.

KETOGENIC DIET: A diet high in fat and low in carbohydrates (sugars) that causes the body to break down fat into molecules called ketones. Ketones circulate in the blood and become the main source of energy for many cells in the body.

PALEO DIET: A diet based on the types of foods presumed to have been eaten by early humans, consisting chiefly of meat, fish, vegetables, and fruit, and excluding dairy or grain products and processed food.

KETOVORE DIET: The Ketovore diet is a mix between ketogenic and carnivore. It is a relatively high-fat, low-carbohydrate diet that aims to induce ketosis in the body. The Ketovore diet is focused on consuming mainly animal products for ample protein intake.

CARNIVORE DIET: A low-carbohydrate diet in which only animal products such as meat, eggs, and dairy are consumed. Also sometimes called the Proper Human Diet.

What is the difference between Keto and Carnivore? The carnivore and keto diets are different primarily because plants and plant-derived products are permitted on the keto diet. Carnivore diet proponents consume animal products exclusively. The keto diet is a low-carb diet, while the carnivore diet is a zero-carb diet when followed strictly.

In a nutshell, all of these eating lifestyles have a few things in common:

·        High healthy animal fats

·        Low to very low carbohydrates

·        No processed foods

·        No grains

·        No sugar

If you are sick and tired of being sick and tired and the doctors keep adding more and more pharmaceuticals, take a good, long look at what you are eating. Many of our “illnesses” today were not common 50-75 years ago. Besides toxic environmental exposures, our food is something that everyone is “exposed” to in order to live. I think it would be fair to say all of us have caved in to using convenience foods in our busy schedules. But, is it really now “convenient” when we have to take time out of that same busy schedule to go to the doctor or several different doctors for a seemingly ever-increasing number of visits?

There are many upsides to the above eating lifestyles. Some are reversing diabetes, some are able to reduce or stop blood pressure medicine, improving thyroid conditions, even weight loss or just building more muscle. I watched a YouTube video on age-related macular degeneration as my Mom has this. This is not genetic as we have believed for years. One in eleven people over the age of 50 now have this vision-stealing condition. Over the age of 75, one in three people will have it in the near future. However, research is showing that if you take sugars and grains and seed oils out of your diet in the early stages of this condition, it can possibly be reversed or slow its progression. We did not do our due diligence when Mom was first diagnosed and unfortunately, hers has progressed to the wet macular degeneration. However, due to a cancer diagnosis last year, she cut out sugar, grains, and most dairy and seed oils. When she returned for another treatment on her eye, the doctor said it looked better than before. She asked if diet could be the reason. He asked what she was doing and she told him. He said absolutely it could help. However, HE DID NOT GIVE HER THIS ADVICE WHEN HE FIRST SAW HER. Only when she brought it up did he say that cutting out sugar and grains especially, would help.

I tell you this to say do your own research on any condition you have. And I don’t mean just WebMD, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, etc. Look at other less mainstream sources. Some of these will contradict each other, but there should be a recurring theme to most of them. If you decide you may want to alter your diet a bit, again, do your research and maybe start with one that restricts just sugar and grains, and fine tune it with how you feel. There are great free resources on YouTube that will tell you how to start some of these eating lifestyles and how to adapt your body to making these changes.  Some even have weekly livestreams where people ask questions.. You can also watch them later at your convenience if you can’t be available for the livestreams.

I struggle with sugar addiction. My vice is M&Ms. We all have our favorite snacks which we need to cut back on or just eliminate altogether. I am trying to transition to ketovore and possibly later to carnivore as I have pre-diabetes.

The one common denominator in each of the above eating lifestyles is: MEAT!!!! And here at Nature’s Gourmet Farm, we can help you with that part. I know folks say that eating lots of meat is very expensive. However, if we give up our sodas, candy, cakes, processed food, etc., then we have more funds available to have a healthier diet and a healthier body with the foods that can truly nourish our bodies and heal us from the damage we have done over the years.

Here are a few of the YouTube channels I watch. They are mainly ketovore and carnivore based. Some of these also have livestreams weekly to answer questions or have interviews with likeminded folks. Some also have communities you can join for a nominal monthly fee to get more face time with them for more in-depth personal question and answer. Otherwise their YouTube channel videos are free and give lots of advice for starting the eating lifestyles, learning more about them, meal and snack recipes/ideas, etc.

·        KenDBerryMD He is a family physician who also gives advice on a wide variety of health-related questions in addition to the carnivore lifestyle. He and his wife have livestreams every Monday night and answer questions. You can also see past livestreams on their channel.

·        Neisha  She is Dr. Berry's wife. She is a nurse and a mom. She is mainly ketovore. She has her own channel to discuss medical issues, her struggles with health, recipes, etc.

·        CarnivoreDoctor  She is a optometric physician who is carnivore. I believe she has a livestream on Tuesday nights. She has tips for meals and snacks as well as other topics.

·        KetogenicWoman This is an older lady who mostly shares cooking tips for keto, ketovore, and carnivore.

·        Anthonychaffeemd  He is a neurosurgical physician who is carnivore.

Free RAW Milk | Election Impact on Food Health

Free RAW Milk- Last week I started a conversation around RAW milk and showed test results where raw milk is very similar to a human mother’s milk and contrasted it to current pasteurized milk that has none of the active ingredients found in human milk. I then asked folks two questions: 1. Is raw milk something you would be interested in for your family? 2. Would you like to receive communications about what we are doing and how you can help effect change?

Faithful Customers | FREE Raw Milk

Contents: 1. Faithful Customers 2. Free The Milk 3. Product Availability Update Faithful Customers- September we completed eight years selling our product via our website and making deliveries. From 2010 till 2016 we only sold whole or half beef & pork and chicken. Thursday a customer placed their order. The order number was 20,000 (that is twenty thousand). WOW! Now, that does not mean we have actually filled 20,000 orders because when someone deletes, cancels or leaves an open cart the number is not reused. But, those are exceptions as most of those 20,000 orders are filled. Additionally, this weekend will be our largest volume delivery ever
