Difficult Week – About six weeks ago Beth’s mom Jackie found out her cancer had returned. Her condition worsened very fast and she passed away early Tuesday morning. Beth had been staying with her most of the last two weeks. Her funeral was Friday morning.

Working with our team we were able to process chicken Tuesday & Wednesday mornings and post inventory. We also processed 8 pigs the afternoon of those two days and posted the fresh pork items. I want to express how much we appreciate our team who stepped up and did extra to support our farm and lessen the burden on Beth.

Beth was able to help me pack orders Thursday and will go with me Saturday on delivery. Live happens with your farmer(s) too

Chicken -Restocked December 11th

Turkey - Restocked Ground Turkey, Wings, Legs, and Thighs November 22nd. It will be mid 2025 before the next restock.


Eggs - Restock each (NOW) TUESDAY PRIOR to YOUR delivery date.


Beef - Next restock will be December 20th. Let me know if you want your name on the list for a half beef – I’m thinking our next offering will be February 2025.

Pork – Restocked FRESH items December 11th. Smoked items in about two weeks

Farm Improvements

Farm Improvements – Fresh water is a necessity for raising healthy animals on pasture. Until recently, we used an ICB tote on a small tralier that we would refill from our well. During the summer the frequency greatly increases in order to keep the chickens hydrated. So, I called my buddy at Southern Pipe and ordered pipe, fittings, etc. and then rented a trencher for May 16th to install 2,700 feet of 1.25 inch PVC pipe. Along the line we added 15 Plasson Quick Coupler Valves that we will hook to as we move the animals through our pastures.
