Nature's Gourmet Farm "In The News" A few weeks ago I shared my subscriber link for The Epoch Times article titled, "Mississippi Farmer Determined to Grow State's Network of Regenerative Farms" written by Jeff Louderback on November 27, 2025. However, only folks with a subscribtion were able to open the link.

Thankfully, The Epoch Times also includes a "Share" link where you do not need a subscription to read the article. Here is the Share Link. Then, click on "Continue Without Registration" at the bottom of the page.

On December 5, 2025, Jeff wrote "I Report on the MAHA Movement. When I put it to the Test I Lost 65 Pounds". Jeff covers major news and politics, including the Make America Healthy Again movement and regenerative farming. He covered the Robert F. Kennedy Jr. presidential campaign that inspired him to test the movement.

The scales at the local gym glared back with an alarming number—278 pounds. The heaviest of my life.

At 6-foot-4, with my height and build, it’s easy to carry more weight and not fully realize the number. That moment in May was eye-opening, spurring me to action.

Since that day, a MAHA-inspired, anti-inflammatory wellness plan has become central to my life, with a focus on whole foods and herbs.

I eliminated processed and fast food. I minimized sugar. I began to regularly walk and hike. Now I’m back to High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workouts.

Almost seven months have passed since “278” stared back at me on the digital scale.

Sitting down with my family to partake of my favorite meal—Thanksgiving turkey, green beans, and mashed potatoes—my body has changed.

My body fat is lower, and my energy levels are higher. I’m healthier and feel fueled with momentum. Today, my weight is 213 pounds.

There is a third article I would like to share with you that was written by Mollie Englehart, a regenerative farmer and rancher at Sovereignty Ranch. The article is titled, "The Most Socialist System in America Is the One Feeding Us-and It's Failing".

Our food system is not a free market. It is not capitalism in any recognizable form. It is a government-engineered economy propped up by taxpayer dollars at every stage, directed by regulation, shaped by corporate interests, and leaving both consumers and farmers dependent, unhealthy, and without real alternatives.

Mollie's article sheds light on the plight of America's farmers and describes the situation as a hybrid of state control and corporate power, uncomfortably close to agricultural indentured servitude. Most of our customers are very interested in the health of their food and care about where their food comes from. I'm sure you will enjoy reading the full article.

F.A.R.M. Council Meetings - As mentioned last week, Commissioner Gipson officially announced on Oct 1st, 2025 in the MS Market Bulletin the formation of a new council titled F.A.R.M. Last Saturday all I had available were the meeting dates and locations. When Beth & I returned home from deliveries the latest MS Market Bulletin was in the mailbox and included a map with locations as well as this website: MDAC.MS.GOV/FARM

From this website you can learn more about Future of Agriculture Resilency for Mississippi, i.e.F.A.R.M, Council Members, Regional Meeting Information & Registration, and Submit Comments (which I encourage everyone to do).

Some folks may get the impression that I do not like Commissioner Gipson. Actually, that is not the case. Frankly, he is a nice guy and I think there are numerous issues we would agree on. However, like a friend who works in AG retail told me, "Andy is bought and paid for by big AG Businesses". And, this council only supports the Big AG socialist, subsidized, indentured servitude agenda Mollie described in her article.

There is NOTHING Resilent about the current conventional farming model - it only destroys life - life in the soil, beneficial insects, and ultimately animals and humans who eat chemical-laden grains from conventional farming. It's not resilient when you consider the vast number of farm bankruptcies and even farmer suicides. Nor is this model resilient when it comes to attracting new families who want to farm for a living. Here is what Will, a young man who is interning with our farm to learn and have his own farm one day had to say about F.A.R.M.

Reading about Ag Commissioner Andy Gipson's proposed F.A.R.M Plan and seeing his newly appointed F.A.R.M. Council was disheartening. Our agriculture is in a time of crisis nationwide, but it's not a fluke that couldn't have been foreseen. It's very telling that the discussion of note during the meeting was concerning insurance policies on large-scale poultry houses. Would it not be better to promote a market not dominated by corporations trying to monopolize but by thousands of small farmers in thousands of communities trying to provide sustenance to their neighbors while benefitting their local economy? After reading this article, I'm not very hopeful for the future of our agriculture. I see the same trend that has been apparent for decades.

Regenerative Farming is the ONLY resilient model - but I have overstayed my time today and will end here by wishing each of you a very Merry Christmas. May the Peace, Hope, and Love of the Lord Jesus' redemptive gift of salvation abound in your life.

Nature's Gourmet Farm product value proposition is to create a community that evolves around one of the most intrinsically important things of the ages, and that’s the provision of sustenance. That's our passion - to raise healthy animals to provide nutrient dense protein and saturated fat that nourish families and strengthen immune systems.

Our Beef is always grass finished with NO grains. Additionally, our animals are free of mRNA, GMO's (chemicals), Antibiotics, and Hormones. We ethically raise them on diverse forage pastures that regenerates our soils and protects our ecosystem.

Let me encourage you to "Be The Change" our food system needs by "Voting With Your Fork" at every meal.
